story of my life. I read and saw the pictures of sexual abuse in Afghanistan by soldiers. cannot even tell you how horrifying that was. I could not move for a good hour. It's like this constant battle between wanting to engage to make things better and then not wanting to because it hurts so badly.

As most of you know, in January of this year, the District Attorney decided not to arrest and prosecute my rapist based on the reasoning of "too much reasonable doubt".
In July, I went and took a polygraph test: click here.
This proves that what happened in April of last year, regardless of anything, DID happen.

In September (this month),a letter was written to the US Attorney General, and the CA Attorney General: click here
We asked them to please review the decision that the DA made, based on reasons that are included in the letter.

Another petition has been made: click here
This one urges the Attorney Generals to review the District Attorney's decision and makes it known to them that with what happened, with the polygraph, and with support from many people, they cannot just ignore the fact that there is a rapist on the streets.

Another update for you guys is that I have been an ICV at UCSD for the past year. During the past two quarters (winter and spring), I regressed into depression and did not do well in school. Because of these reasons, UCSD has decided not to accept my transfer to their school. They have given me the option of going back to UC Davis, the school where I was assaulted, or quit college altogether.

Thank you guys so much for all the support you have given me so far, and I hope that I can borrow your support again for just a little while longer. I am not going to be in Nationstates a lot, but I will come in every now and again and check in on this thread and also check my telegrams, if you would like to speak to me.
