Ale and lager are both beer.


I'd go with beer, more specifically IPAs and double IPAs, but depends on my mood.

Gin wins for hard liquor, unless I feel like getting crazy, in which case, tequila.

In my opinion, I would prefer mild alcohol or Scottish whisky, or those with something not more than 2% content, although my preference is normally on soft drinks as a priority over alcohol. In fact I have only drunk a pint of beer once every about two to three months average.

In approximate order, but theres exceptional and nasty versions of all.

Dark Ales, Porter and Stouts
Red Wine
Cider
Mead
Whisky
Ammarreto (medicinal almonds; good for a headach)
Dark Rum
White Wine (varies alot though, some is very nice others is piss)
Lager

Sweet drinks mostly suck.
