Using animals to justify it (I hope you know that Bonobos, as we humans perceive it, are extremely promiscuous and bisexual. They have, what we perceive as, sexual relations over the slightest provocation. Quarrels can become "sexual" at a moments notice. Animals have no concept of sexuality, and I wouldn't call any of them gay. -- on that note, I don't think I've EVER heard of an animal, documented throughout its entire life, as exclusively homosexual. Not to mention, Wikipedia is NOT a credible source . . . very few of the contributors have degrees or extensive knowledge in the field they're explaining, including the topic "Homosexuality in Animals." Spewing out studies and specific occasions [which for the most part are not what you think] does not make something true.) Don't try to justify your perversions.

Not only do I (and most people that find homosexuality wrong) think it's wrong because of my religion, I also believe it to be wrong morally. I could easily compare it to necrophilia, zoophilia, pedophilia, and other forms of sexual deviancy.

My message was chiefly concerning how my faith, and moreover the scriptures of Christianity are not opposed homosexuality. Except in the ways it opposes sexuality in general.

God is something far beyond what humans could hope to comprehend, we all touch a part of the divine, to some degree. I don't think a Muslim or Jew doesn't speak to God when he prays. I simply doubt whether he will be saved. As I believe that Christ is the only way.

Christ is the whole truth, but that is not to say that other religions do not in themselves contain glimmers of truth, and they are no less right when they believe they have a sense of the divine, but it rings hollow without the presence of the Holy Spirit.

The Zoroastrians and if I'm not mistaken, the Muslims as well believe (or perhaps merely refer to as an analogy, my memory is rusty) that the entrance to Paradise was a bridge to be crossed, and that hell and destruction lay below. In the Christian belief that bridge is Christ. There is nothing in my mind to say a flying leap couldn't possibly save you, and that is what I believe Muslims, Jews and even say Buddhists do in their attempts to reach the divine, but there is a bridge that only God's grace through Jesus Christ allows.

I know you're not calling me insane. I merely saying that I understand that faith can seem incomprehensible to the faithless. If you believe only in what can be empirically proven, then I submit, there is not sufficient evidence to support the reality of God (or lack thereof). Therefore I support secularism in the state, and I support such things as "gay marriage" because whether God ordains it or not is not known, but in the meantime, there are people being denied legal rights for reasons that are not based on facts. Religion is good, when it is kept separate from politics and vice-versa.

Yes, bonobos are very sexual. They use sex often to reduce the number of violent incidences. That's a GOOD thing. You haven't looked hard enough.
