Let's face it: Zimmerman isn't going to run. He's going to be hiding from public view and hope the jihad doesn't find him.

I believe he acted in self defense. Granted he shouldn't have followed him, but I don't lash out and smash someone round the face if someone follows me. Politely ask them why they are following maybe.

bail is not 'fishy' at all. if you post bail they let you out of jail while you await your court date. p. simple.

By Zimmerman's own account he assaulted martin. He went after martin first. That assault should remove the protections of stand your ground from him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assault yes i know wiki is not always a best source but for this it works.

Now this has nothing to do with bail. bail is only to make sure zimmerman shows up for trial, and as zimmerman turned himself in, its hard to say he is a flight risk.

BBC said he had to report every three days where he was located, and was being electronically tracked. I wouldn't really be too worried about it.
