Bear in mind I hate to see inter-Slav violence, but a war between Russia and Poland is really a question of "How many parking spaces does Warsaw have for T-90s?".

There have been at least 3 wars between Russia and Poland and at least 2 were won by Poland.

Just because Russia's big don't mean it's very powerful. On the Defensive, it's an impenetrable fortress, but offensively Russia sucks.
Puppet born of the unholy Slavic Patriotism of Thama and Bojikami and also THIS Polandball comic created by aforementioned slavs.
If unsure of current user, assume Thama. If I am being nice about something I do not agree with, assume murder and call both the Russian and German police immediately.

My OOC opinions about shit may vary greatly, depending on who logged on.

Modern day warfare, my friend.

Russia simply would drown Poland in men, despite Poland's fairly uptodate weaponry such as the F-16s and Leopard 2 MBTs. The Georgian war simply was the above - Russia sent in old T-80s and SU-25s, but because they have so many units of the above, they overran the Georgian military. As a famous German General in WWII once said concerning the Russian offensive, "...If 12 divisions are destroyed, the [Russians] send another 12..."

Poland would out up a fight, but it wouldn't be long before it would be overrun.

Anyway, why don't we talk about invading Anti-Slavic nations AS A WHOLE? Turkey, man, we should invade their sorry asses 1913 style 8)

Also the Polish Hussars, per soldier, were the best army in the world. The Spartans lost at Thermopylae outnumbered twenty five to one. The Polish Hussars won against the Mongols outnumbered ONE HUNDRED TO ONE. They were also pretty much the only guys to hold onto Moscow for a decent amount of time apart from the Russians.

It's a bit sad and mildly amusing that people only remember Poland as the buttmonkey of Europe as a result of the partitions. Otherwise, Poland was very stronk indeed. And dem Hussars mate, may we have a picture of them? They were badass, appearance wise and battlewise.

Seriously though, was there any other Slavic nation that came up with artistically pleasing and beautiful armor? Hmmm? Legit question by the way, take your time.

Muh, that's up to opinion. I like the original uniform of the Bulgarian Home guard, although I feel not many others will. It would be very interesting to see if Poland defeated the Ottomans at Varna, and possibly liberated Bulgaria. Open to alt-history there...

Similar, but that version is the one that was altered during the Warsaw Pact years. The original was developed during the unification era, sadly, I can't find a picture. :meh:

Guys, I have a question. I'm half-Latvian, half-Finnish that being said, while it doesn't bear much resemblance to a Slavic Language, how "Slavic" would you consider Latvians?
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.
