Not true. The Hebrew Bible are the 24-books.... the 'Torah' the rest are the Niviem (prophets) and Ketuvim (scriptures/writings) known as the Tanach...... though some may call this whole Tanach the Torah..... I tend too..... don't take it lightly the other books that are not the first five are very.... very important.

Oh. I had read that the five books of Moses, the first five of the OT, were the Hebrew Bible. I did not know this.

Oh. I had read that the five books of Moses, the first five of the OT, were the Hebrew Bible. I did not know this.

Hmm it could be it was someone with a different interpretation the first five are the Torah (the law) and the rest again are prophets and writings but together they combine the 24 Book of the Hebrew Bible. Whereas a Christian bible would also have the new Testament and depending on denomination..... apocrypha.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ. I am a spiritualist/Baptist....I would like to know your opinion on the other 2 main Abrahamic religions (Islam, and Judaism) Do you think they will saved? why or why not?

It's my opinion that Jews are saved through the Abrahamic Covanant of the the Old Testament (Genesis 12:1-3,7). This is God's covanant with Israel, and Abraham and his heirs. By this reading i've come to conclusion that Jews will be saved.

It is also my opinion that Muslims, can be possibly saved as well, because they DO have the same God as us. Yes they call God "Allah" but in Arabic that means "God." They believe Jesus was one of the Prophets and The Qu'ran is very very similar to the Bible.

The Psudopigrapha is a common "addition" in gnostic beliefs, as well as others. Personally I don't believe it's inspired text, BUT it gives GREAT insight into other aspects of the Bible.

Why? Both follow the same God? One should read the Bible and see what Denomination they think best fits their interpritation of The Bible. If one wants to be Catholic, then let them. If one wants to be Lutheran, then let them as well.

Heresy? Does it say anywhere in the Bible "Hey worship me this way or its heresy!"? Protestant demoninations are NOT heresy.

Protestant denominations ARE heresy.

Jesus Christ built his Church on Peter, the Vicar of Christ upon Earth. Peter was the Pope, which is the head of the Roman Catholic Church. With the definition of "heresy," by the events, according to the Holy Bible, and by the transitive property, Lutheranism is heresy.

Yah. I know what a Tanach is and I know the difference between the original translation and the 'New' translation...... and by New I mean incorrect.

no, it isn't. They worship God, they love Jesus. How is that Heresy? Loving Jesus, Worshipping God, and being moved by the Holy Spirit are the Christian Fath. Lutherans keep all of these things Sacred to thier religion. Each following it. I don't see how you can judge them, for you will be judged in heaven THE SAME WAY.

Yes, Jesus built his church around Peter. That doesn't mean Lutherism is heresy. Lutherism rejected some of the teachings that the Catholic church INTRODUCED as it aged.
