Except green energy IS as practical and available. Hydroelectric dams are already in use, and power, for instance, pretty much my entire city (Las Vegas).
Wind farms are popping up everywhere, even in remote areas.
They ARE Practical, ARE available, they just take time to replace Fossil Fuels.
Sans your token example, can you pull nationwide statistics?
Having spent quite a bit of time studying alternative energy, in there current form they are not implementable on a widespread scale.
