Except green energy IS as practical and available. Hydroelectric dams are already in use, and power, for instance, pretty much my entire city (Las Vegas).

Wind farms are popping up everywhere, even in remote areas.

They ARE Practical, ARE available, they just take time to replace Fossil Fuels.

Sans your token example, can you pull nationwide statistics?

Yes, I might be trolling. No, not like the guy who created the thread about towel heads.
I troll by making even the most outlandish opinions sound reasonable. The question is, am I doing that here?

From an Australian perspective, based on the news available, my own research on the internet and many forums discussion...

Obama would get my vote by a huuuuuuge margin.

The Republican candidates this time round have, by varying degree, come off as terribly backward (and crazy, mean spirited etc). Jon Huntsman interested me briefly, but alas, the republican base isn't particularly interested in reasonable modernity and moderate thinking.

After that it leaves Romney as the best of a bad, sad bunch.

All that means is that the far-right coup d'etat that establishes the Republic of Gilead will happen on December 21st.

I mean, like that would be the end of the world... honestly...

EDIT: Four days after the Electoral College votes and five days before the ballots must be delivered to Joe Biden (as President of the Senate) and the National Archivist. Tell me I'm wrong, go ahead. I dare you...

NOTE: Edited my original post. But renwable is still a tiny portion of the market and Nuclear and Natural Gas are rising faster than renewable.

I don't particularly want to support either. But I'll end up voting for Obama, as there aren't any viable third party alternatives, and Romney is incredibly unlikely to give me financial aid of any kind, which is the most important quality in a President.
