Hitler's Many Failures

Although NS isn't a necessarily military -savvy place, I thought I would make a thread on the failures that prevented Hitler's victory in WW2. Here we go:

-Invasion of Soviet Unoin
-Failure to provide suffecient forces to Erwin Rommel in North Africa
-Failure to occupy Dunkirk before BEF and French could escape
-Failure to seize lighty-defended Middle east, granting almost unlimited oil supplies
-Failure to assault Malta
-Order the bombing of British cities
-Failure to occupy French colonies, allowing Germans to occupy Spanish Morocco with our much trouble and use Luftwaffe to gain control of Gibraltar

and some more.

What are your thoughts, NS? Is this a viable list, or do you dispute some of my points?

Make friends with Mussolini. You missed that.

Also, the failure of enough supplies to reach Rommel in North Africa wasn't the direct result of Hitler or the German logistics system but rather of the Royal Navy's dominance of the Mediterranean, which could have not eventuated had Mussolini had the balls to send the Italian Navy to destroy the rest of the British fleet as it was leaving Crete.

Ah, yes, Mussolini. I did miss that.

As for the British Navy, attacking Malta would've solved most of that problem. Instead of Crete, which had little stractegic value.

And thought he was smarter than his generals, and not launching an amphibious assualt on Britian.

Hitler only made one mistake that cost him the war. Everything else was salad dressing:

He dared to take on Canada and Australia.

1. Too true.

2. He couldn't really assault Britain until he gained air supremacy over the Isle, in order to safely protect amphibious vehicles.

 thats funny. Hence the

Hey, remember when Americans held the city of Tobruk for several weeks despite constantly fighting off Rommel and his Afrika Corps? Or when Americans penetrated further inland than the rest of the allies at Normandy?

Oh, right, that's because America didn't do either of those.

Except that Crete held the remnants of the forces which were siphoned from Egypt and sent to Greece. Get rid of these remnants and you have a severely weakened force in Egypt.

Quite funny how the Americans think they won the war.

Hey, man- don't get ugly. Canada is awesome and is way better than the hellhole I call America, but I try to run a clean thread. ;)

What? When? If your talking about the Afrika Korps, Hitler mainly did that to prevent total Italiamn collapse.

Damn straight. Hitler didn't know what hit him when he was flanked with our combined polar bear and kangaroo cavalry.

But seriously, Canadian and Australian troops were fucking badass in WWII.

I think you're a Nazi! No, but yes he made a lot of mistakes. One of them being in atomic research. He never saw nuclear capabilities to be used in war, only to supply his nation with limitless electricity. That was his biggest mistake.

Quite funny how the Americans think they won the war.

Or set up a cross-France escape line for Allied airmen, escaped POWs, and agents. Or shattered the Afrika Corps. Or strafed Rommel's car shortly after D-Day, taking him out of the fight. Or organized and protected the supply convoys to Britain and Russia. Or held of the Japanese in China, Burma, and Southern Asia. Or captured most of Sicily and Italy. Or broke through at Monte Cassino, thus shattering the Hitler Line. Or liberated Belgium. Or liberated Denmark. Or liberated Holland. Or liberated Norway...

I could go on.
