It's in very many peer-reviewed journals, like this one...

You know, it's not necessary to believe in a god to be a Christian. In fact, I would argue that belief in a god is incompatible with being a Christian.

I think it's more confusing to ask "Is there not a God?"

Ha! Like there are any actual theories that try to explain why there doesn't need to be one!
You can't have a theory that expressly says what doesn't happen, only what does happen. What doesn't happen is inferred from what does.
Therefore, we don't need theories saying that god doesn't exist, only saying that he does.

You don't need theories for missing information?
I'm sorry, but not understanding where the universe came from seems a crippling error.
And don't give me "Big Bang" because that's a causa sui.

Yes, we don't know everything. Neither do Theists with their god of the gaps crap.

I've come to the conclusion that nobody knows the answers at all.
The best thing to do is not worry about it a whole lot and show love to the rest of humanity in whatever form possible and attempt to be the best person you can be.
Or you could just waste more time attempting to find the answers, but that frankly just seems depressing.

Why does it seem depressing? I think finding answers is a wondrous activity. It gave us all we have now, at least.

That's true.
The only problem is that I don't believe the answers will be found within my lifetime. It may be a pursuit worth taking, but I don't believe I'll ever get to the destination. All I believe I can do is take my best guess and choose what I see to be a good ideology.
It's a wondrous activity, but one that will never bring the results you want.

I like how you pretend that the correlation doesn't exist and are just looking to argue about something.Zirconim wrote:Fr33domland wrote:There is no evidence of god hence there isn't one. I like how you associate hardcore atheism and antitheism with socialism...
