It's one of those Freudian concepts I came up with, and it's been found to be true a large majourity of the time.

Consistent or one-off occasions? Referring to oneself as straight 'except for that person' does not make one a bisexual, it makes an exception to the usual rule of their attraction. An anti-theist who is against religion in general except for Therevada Buddhism doesn't automatically cease to be an anti-theist, it merely makes it an exception to her rule. As for the other option, of consistent homoerotic thoughts, you'll need some heavy proof to show that all, or at least an overwhelming majority, who aren't asexual repeatedly get turned on by those they don't believe themselves attracted to.

Sexuality is a spectrum. Two spectra, actually, though I like to think of it as three spectra, perhaps more. It's more complicated than just categorization, but for the sake of simplicity, let people say they are what seems to fit them best.

Well, if anything, that would make people who are not bi or somewhat bi a minority. I remember a quote from Kaboom (not the most reliable source I know, but I heard it was heavily lauded in the LGBT-et-al community or something) where someone said that going by the Kinsey Scale, it's estimated that only some single-digit percentage of Americans that I can't remember are either a 0 or a 6.
