Yeah, plus the writing? Either you get multiple authors who don't know how to hold a story together let alone keep the same style, or you get another set of writers who make their own crap up and completely ruin the plot...

Having a small portion of the population homosexual is beneficial to all. Homosexuals will only bear children when they want them, which means there'll be a few less abortions. (I point a lot of Christians to Carlin for that point.) Giving homosexuals their due rights may very well lead to a rise in adoption rates, which is definitely good (depending on the character of the parents, but we're speaking generally for now).

As far as rights go, full equal opportunity is the best path. The old purpose of marriage has passed us by. Marriage today is an expression of unity and love between two people first, and a guide for a family second. Denying somebody their rights because of a definition is bad, and doing so because of misguided, 3,000 year old morals would be worse.

Yeah, in an ideal society one could have multiple spouses but knowing how jealous people easily become, I don't think it would become a common practice.

But on the topic, I hope there were way more gay male couples and a lot fewer lesbians, would make my life easier. :)

Oh, big surprise here: I topic on homosexuality that begins with "I'm supportive of homosexuals, BUT..." Didn't see this coming at all.

Being a member of the QUILTBAG community, I am fully supportive of the right to maintain your given sexuality, and am supportive of the homosexual struggle to gain equality.

The acronym has enough letters now to be arranged into an amusing word?

Q - Queer and Questioning
U - Unidentified
I - Intersex
L - Lesbian
T - Transgender, Transexual
B - Bisexual
A - Asexual
G - Gay, Genderqueer

Because acronyms that spell words are that much better. *nod*

I've never had a problem with homosexuality, and feel they've as much a right to marry as you or I do.

Meh, they can do what they like, I fail to see why their private life is my business simply because it's not the Mars + Venus format. Honestly, who cares enough to oppose it anyway, apart from the church, which people in my country have lost their fondness for(I'm from Ireland)

homosexuality is a natural response to overpopulation. that is to say statistically. and not just in humans. there is plenty of evidence of this throughout human history too.

that individuals should in any way be penalized, or even discouraged in any way, is utterly absurd and inane. whatever someone else's mythological convictions to the contrary.
truth isn't what i say. isn't what you say. isn't what anybody says. truth is what is there, when no one is saying anything.
