My sister swears by herbs and crap for everything. I swear I can almost beat her to death sometimes, all the while screaming "will the herbs fix this? WILL THEY?"

I'm certainly not sold on the idea of (ahem) alternative treatments for cancer. However, I've seen some pretty compelling stuff about nutritional approaches and strategies that don't involve massive doses of radiation and toxic chemicals.
Far be it from me (or Suzanne Somers) to suggest that there might be other ways to get well. Not with the plethora of medical experts on this bulletin board waiting to play the yahoo.
You folks on the payroll of a pharmaceutical corporation by any chance?
My sister is a doctor of molecular microbiology and she doesn't burst out laughing when the topic of unconventional medicine comes up. Partly, this is due to her good nature and polite demeanor. However, she's smart enough to know that it shouldn't be dismissed with a sneer.

Also, thank for making this thread. I was about to, for teh sakez of information, but I thought I'd get called out for it.
It's good to see people are as angry about this as I was when I first took note of it.

I´m beginning to question just how the cure for cancer can be found as a cancer is not caused by bacteria or viruses but by unfortunate chance mutations (somebody please correct me if Í´m wrong here but that´s what high school taught me).
