SciFi's latest blunder

I actually liked Tin Man. Alice might be interesting, I'll have to watch and see.

BTW: from what I've heard and read, they changed their name to SyFy because of trademark considerations. "SciFi" was considered a generic term for science fiction and thus couldn't be trademarked. I didn't like it at first, but at least they had a reason for doing it.

From what I heard at DragonCon, it sounds like a cross between Lost in Space, Voyager and Teen Angst TV. Basically, it sounded like Stargate:90210. I am hoping for better, and will give it a shot, but I ain't holding my breath.

SyFy, phonetically, should bee "Sye-fee," so I just have a problem with it on an English level

It reminds me of when they put out an inferior version of Dune while the real film was still fresh.

It's just so that everyone in the US media doesn't kill themselves. If we had British writing with American levels of money flying about, Hollywood would set on fire or something.
