First, I would point out that there's no such thing as a non-violent air raid, or invasion, so the protesters started it.

Second. Violence only causes more violence if you didn't use enough of it in the first place. It's like explosives and problem solving. No people, no problems.

EDIT: Dastilla gave an alternative use of air raids in psy ops with leaflet dropping. I'll give that's non-violent, but it is littering. Hope you're prepared to pay the fine.

Hey, play her stuff, you can be ruler of Australia!

Now that's a scary thought - playing Yoko Ono's "music" at a labor demo in Osaka might result in my being the dictator of Australia!

The Situation

Cape Alumina Pty Ltd has lodged mining lease applications which include approximately 12,300 ha of the Reserve.

Is this as far as its gotten? Because if so, this is not yet concerning. Companies attempt to do this all the time.

The concerning part will come if the applications are approved. By all means sign the petitions or whatever may be out there, but this isn't that big of a deal at this stage. Hope that the people in charge of handling the application have the common sense to reject it, which a gut feeling of mine says yet.

If it's more then just the application then this doesn't apply. I didn't bother to read the link. ;)

That makes this the best time to persuade everyone involved to make sure it does not happen. The company has not yet invested a huge amount of resources into it so it will take less effort to make them stop.
