I am very much for a single payer system. The problem is, we can't pass it. I have taken the public option off the table in hopes of actually passing a bill.

I did? Oh yeah! No, I only promised Iraq. I am working on that, hold your horses. I also promised to hire an additional 92 thousand troops. I am also promising a surge in Afghanistan. You see, that will keep the military industrial complex busy. And unemployment lower. It's an economic benefit to all of us.

Good questions. You see, the profits the banks are making are not real. It's just the tricky accounting rules they use like we do. Remember all those bad mortgages and loans? They still have them. Credit card default rates have hit a record again. Unemployment is still rising. Causing yet more defaults. Shit, how do I fit recovery in this paragraph. Because you know... we are recovering!
