I do listen to what he's saying. I can see how it may "seem" like my idea may be racist, but it wasn't so racist back then, so why not now? It is for the greater good is it not? As long as they are treated fairly, whic, I would hope they would be.

Perhaps unlikely. I was also thinking of an arab-american teenager, perhaps a bit socially awkward internet geek, reading this and feeling more isolated and like he or she is not welcome in his or her own country. Every racist statement must be countered. It must always be clear that the vast majority do not support the OPs viewpoint.

Actually the Japanese Internment camps were very racism motivated, so much so that there was a huge lawsuit against the United States Government which, oh no, resulted in reparations for violations of the victims civil and human rights. The victims also lost a lot of property as a result of internment, they lost their businesses to white people who took them over, so yeah, racism had a role in that, and it plays a role in your argument regardless of your own concept of racism. Not all "Arabs" are Muslims and not all Muslims are "Arabs. and not all Muslims are terrorists. ok? Its fear mongering and bigoted to stand on that soapbox crying "round up all them there a-rabs and get em in a camp so they can't bother us no more!"
