Why? See, before Bush started doing warrantless wire-tapping, you actually have to had a warrant to invade the privacy of a citizen of the United States. To get a warrant, you'd need evidence or probable cause that they have, or will commit a crime.

My city has the largest Afghani population outside of Afghanistan. There haven't been any riots, rampages or suicide bombings that I'm aware of. Not even any public flag-burnings or anti-American graffiti. Maybe we just have all the really mellow Arabs, though, who knows, right?
