Now, there's a lot of games coming up, so I thought I'd introduce them:
LittleBigPlanet-You've seen it before if you have a PS3, and LBP is coming to the PSP. It'll have probably much the same controls as the PS3 version (since it doesn't use right analog or R2/L2), and it also is rumored to have PSP-PS3 interconnectivity.
Dissidia: Final Fantasy-This is a fighting-game based Final Fantasy. To sum it up, you pit two heros/villains from Final Fantasy versus each other in combat. Brave Points determine how much damage HP attacks do, and your first goal is to make the enemy "Break": this leaves them defenseless and can turn a single sword slice into a one-hit-kill. Although all the regular spells from FF are here, you can only have a select amount hotwired. You can also use a more turn-based system, and the campaign we've seen so far involves moving across a board using Destiny Points, defeating enemies along the way, with the goal of arriving at the end of the map with the allotted amount of Destiny Points spent: no more, although less can-for bonuses! You can also endlessly customize characters.
Hot Shots Tennis: Get A Grip-Another humorous subtitle to the Hot Shots series. I'm guessing it'll be typical Hot Shots: different characters with different personalities, starting clothing, and strengths and weaknesses, and lots of play-amping gear to get your hands on.
MLB 09: The Show-Basically, it's the new EA MLB game for the PSP. Need I say more?
NBA 10: The Inside-Once again, new EA NBA game for PSP.
Rockstar Games And Timbaland Presents Beaterator-Not much I've heard of, but word is that Beaterator is a mixing game-you get to mix music.
Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier-Another Jak And Daxter game. Not much detail, but expect airship fights along with the regular package.
Fat Princess: Fistful Of Cake-Not much I've heard of, but it's a fairytale-ish violent RTS with the goal of making your princess fat. Yeah, seriously.
MotorStorm: Arctic Edge-MotorStorm has already been in the desert and the Pacific urban areas, so the Arctic is obviously the next conquerable area. There's probably going to be a new vehicle class exclusive to the game (the snowmobile), not excluding the fact all of the other vehicle classes (including MotorStorm 2's Monster Truck probably) will be included. Basically, it's an unforgivably realistic arcade-ish terrain racer... in snow.
Madden NFL 10-See NBA 10: The Inside for more details.
SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3-Another SEALs game, a tactical first-person shooter from the guys making MAG, which is supposed to be using 256 players in deathmatches at this point.
Gran Turismo 4 Mobile-The new GT4 is coming to PSP, and what's better is that from the screens it looks just as meticously detailed as the first game, and will probably have all the features. Polyphony might have added a few extra tidbits, but still expect a lengthy time until the release date, as word is GT5 is still being worked on.
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines-Taking place right after Assassin's Creed, ACB will have Altair offing the rest of the Templars, and it'll also explain the connection between him, Desmond, and Ezio. Plus, connecting Bloodlines to the PS3 version of ACII unlocks six exclusive weapons for each of the games, and Bloodlines will probably have the free-switch weapons (from sword to mace) that ACII has.
PlayStation Store: Not technically a game, but stores most of the PSP games and probably will have the games listed here. It's the only game tool you get for downloading games onto the PSPGo!.
And the topic of the poll is...
(barumpbarumpbar)
GTA: Chinatown Wars. Some say the DS version was cheapy, others said it was great. I say that it's coming to the PSP, and word is from the Savage Huns (first one to find the ref gets a cookie) that it'll still be topdown but sporting new 3D graphics. Will Chinatown Wars do any better on the PSP?
We'll have to wait, boppers. (Again, ref finder gets cookie.)
