What the hell you think Turkish left-wingers are ? They are not traitors. Underlining that left-wingers are much more nationalistic than any other group in this country. Left-wing organizations show the greatest struggle against those Armenian lies in international areas.

I partially blame the Kurds, who went to a lot of trouble with the removal of Assyrians Christians and Armenians from the region to get a Kurdish majority.

And hey, Canada is awesome.

The two biggest reasons for the insurrection in the first place were Britain's plans of keeping Québec Catholic (instead of forced conversion to Anglicanism) and setting up a semi-autonomous Native territory that would just happen to stop westward expansion of the Colonies.

Spiral Sun wrote:The colonies all had their own ideas and goals. The New Englanders wouldn't have had much chance to gain from Ohio, anyways.

Yet they fought a goddamned war over it that drew in Britain and forced the increased taxation (and they weren't even paying that much...) in the first place. Funny how that works out.

How did they force the increased taxation? I might want to point out for the other part how the New Englanders became the most Pro-British, with Southerners and Westerners being the most expansionist.

Good point. One should read this book:

"..her story was that she originally came from an eastern province of turkey, but when the kurds started to massacre christians – mostly armenians – she was sheltered by the lady who was now her mother-in-law. she remained hidden in the house for over a year, and when the son came home on leave from his army service, they fell in love and got married. the husband had to go back to his unit following his leave, but was discharged as unfit, later on. she also fell ill, but even though there was much deprivation in the area, she was always given the best food available. “my mother-inlaw, before retiring for the night always insists on my saying my christian prayers, and look, i still wear a cross around my throat. do you want me to leave these people who love me, and send me to the bishop in constantinople who cannot care for me and where i know no-one?.."

Don't worry, the lies of imperialists and armenians sound like that to us as well.

There was no a systematical genocide planned by the state. But there was a mutual civil war which kurds also participated in. I don't think I said something contradictory. I didn't even express my thoughts there anyway, but just shared a quote from a book.

Btw Süper Türk is a good movie, I advise.

I'd someone mount pressure on the US and USSR to have a race to Mars, and a race to colonize the moon.

Or just make Van Braun the head of NASA, he had the plans and logistics worked out for a moonbase and written up by the early 1950s.

EDIT: It was 1959 with Project Horizon.

Right, sure, Kamal, whatever you say. Admit it, you know you're wrong and are just constantly moving the goal posts until you finally find something that is actually correct and can then spin into "proof" that the Armenians aren't people.

Some say what you do to others can later come to bite you back.

In pushing the Armenians out of Western Turkey toward the east, the Turks effectively blocked there way when it comes to creating a continous line of Turkic nations thus making the dream of some Turkish nationalist of a connected Turkic Union an impossibility unless they invade there neighbors.

Turkey currently has a narrow corridor to Nakhchivan which is an exclave of Azerbaijan. But Nakhchivan is separated from Azerbaijan proper by 46 km. (20 miles) of Armenia.

My list?

March 1881: Alexander II narrowly avoids being assassinated, assuring that his social reforms would not be eliminated by his disastrous successor.
Circa 1919: France lets go of Indochina following pleas by one Ho Chi Minh in an attempt to focus post-WWI reconstruction at home, circumventing the Vietnam War and entry into the Soviet Sphere of Influence entirely.
1961: Bay of Pigs Invasion canceled; Cuban Missile Crisis and the Castro Brothers' Subscription to the Soviet-sphere adverted.
1971: Idi Amin is shot dead attempting to coup the Ugandan government; East Africa ends up slightly less fucked up.
1973: Betty Ting Pei decides against giving Bruce Lee analgesics after he complains of a headache, possibly preventing his premature death.
1978: Jim Jones decides to go kill himself: 917 lives saved from murder and suicide.
1986: Libyan Dictator Muammar Gadaffi is killed in an air strike on his compound in Operation El Dorado Canyon, circumventing the Lockerbie Bombing and 25 additional years of tyranny.
1990: Chinese government overthrown in a revolution, a constitution respecting civil rights is drafted.
1995: Quebec secedes from Canada and promptly collapses into nothingness. Because the quebecois suck, obviously.
1998: Bin Laden gets his brains blown out by a covert raid in rural Afghanistan, War on Terror still occurs, but is nowhere near as intense.
2004: World of Warcraft is never released.
2009: Arizona wins the Superbowl.
2010: Tea Party Movement collapses after getting assraped in elections.
2011: Terraria flops, Minecraft remains the dominant open-world sandbox game.
2012: Rick Santorum is raped to death by a horny, homosexual dolphin; lots of santorum ejected from corpse.

????: Richter Belmont elected President of Transylvania, and gives out his promised "2 Miserable Piles of Secrets in Every Garage and a Die Monster on Every Dinner Plate."

I should have knocked Maxentius out, and arranged a wall of legionaries on the bloody bridge. Then the balistae and the onagri would have done short work of the remains of Constantinus' army that hadn't impaled themselves on our pila.
Too bad I was in Tibur searching that stupid villa of Hadrianus' for some original texts when that incompetent fucked up the battle. You really can't trust anyone... not after poor Gaius.

Gurkha war...
With defeat in the campaign. Indian rebellion succeeds and much stronger Nepalese armed forces invade due to rather imperialistic government.
Perhaps wont be best for rest of the world and humanity but I really dont care... it would be better for me and Nepal.

What if Gran Colombia did not break up. It would also have included what is today the Dominican Republic since they wanted to join Gran Colombia but they could not since they were invaded by there neighbor. Puerto Rico could also have been part of Gran Colombia since there were some who wanted to break away from Spain and join them.
