But there was this whole thing about 'germanic' people being a race back in the '30s and '40s all being the hype in a certain european country...

Aryans are a Race, (The "Master Race" according to Hitler)

Germans are technically a race, as all basic descents from tribes go.

French-German-Anglo-Italian-Chinese-Korean-Japanese-ECT are all races

However?

Swedish =/= race.

Never. "German" is both a nationality and an ethnicity. There are only three races: Mongoloid, Negroid, and Caucasoid, although they consist of many ethnic groups. Germans, Teutons/Saxons/Aryans/etc are Caucasoid.

Really? I slag Poles, Jews, Slavs, Chinese, Arabs, Italians, Irish, English, Americans, etc., and I'm not racist. I just enjoy making fun of people with crude insults sometimes. I don't treat anyone with less respect simply because of their ethnicity/race. That said, if I see some shady-looking characters wearing hoodies on a warm day, shorts that go down to the ground, and sideways ball caps, I try to steer clear of them.

I'm from a family, that's like 900 generations of Italian + German + Anglo bred, so I make fun of EVERYONE, I laugh at White Supremacists, at Womens Right's Activists, and at Blacks, Jews, ect, all the time.

Does this make me a Racist? No, because the girls I date are generally not-white.

I would tend to think that it was not Germans as a race during Nazi time, it was Aryans, band second off i think the Germans are a people of a country anyways.

I've dated, and will continue to date, any girl whom I find attractive -- Blonde, brunette, red-haired, ginger, Chinese, Arab, brown Asian, Japanese, Persian, light Indian, dark Indian, etc. All races and ethnicities have their gorgeous women. As long as we're culturally compatible (meaning raised here with liberal Western values or being open to them and to dating outside their own group), race and ethnicity don't bother me. A wise man once said "They're all pink on the inside."

Well... "Germanic" is a race... To which: Saxons, Franks, Norse, Danes, Swedes, Gouts and Geats (Goths/Gotlanders), Normans, Suisse, Sweboz, Burgundians, and Langobardoz belong. Some other tribes which disappeared a bit farther back include: Markomannoz, Xattisku, Xeruski, Xabukoz, Kimbroz, Basternisku, Alemmanni, Semnones, Kimbri, and Teutones to name a few. Germanic people are closely related with other neighboring caucasoid sub-races including: Ugro-Finns, Balts, Slavs, and Celts.
