We're talking about our own species here, the only truly advanced Sapient (added Advanced so people don't bitch about Dolphins) species we know of, do you really think we aren't above consuming the flesh of each other, reverting back to base animalistic tendencies? You'll retreat to the argument that if the other person consents, then it's morally justifiable, but is it really morally justifiable? If you ask the random passerby what they thought about people consuming the flesh of other people, or even wanting others to consume their flesh, they'd call either you or them fucking insane.
