Missile Shield Plan Scrapped

Postby Gauthier » Thu Sep 17, 2009 3:36 pm

Or as Real Americans will call it, Further Proof that Obama is a Communist:

White House to Scrap Bush’s Approach to Missile Shield

(And NYT apparently has gotten rid of the damn adware for now so relax.)

Besides defusing tension with Russia, it also takes a practical approach with focusing on a much more uncertain prospect of Iran launching missiles. Not to mention it'll cost a bit less than the Missile Command Theme Park that Dubya had planned to set up in Poland.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.
Where is your God-Emperor now?

Actually it was intended for missiles from the ME. Russian missiles go over the N. Pole, not poland.
The kind of middle-class mentality which actuates both those responsible for strategy and government has little knowledge of the new psychology and organizing ability of the totalitarian States. The forces we are fighting are governed neither by the old strategy nor follow the old tactics.

Yes he does. It's something that will somehow end up with him getting more pay. Can't you read?

GO ask the Ukrainians, Poles, and Czechs what they feel about it and they will most likely say...

Oh, Fuck.

Somehow, I don't think many would be bothered to strike Ukraine, the Czech Republic or Poland. Just a thought.

cept for Russia. We pretty much through out our main bargaining chip with Russia for no reason at all. We coulda negotiated like in teh Cuban missile crisis, and used that shield to get something we wanted, kinda how the Russians did with Turkey.

And Georgia would probably like to differ on that

There was no bargaining chip. Russia would have flat out refused to meet any demands. Moscow throws hissy fits; it's how they role. And what exactly would you want from Russia, out of curiosity?

Metz-Lorraine wrote:And Georgia would probably like to differ on that

Russia wouldn't send missiles over. Russia would invade on foot.
