Except, as it has already been pointed out by SoWiBi, that Vaterland is merely a synonym for "country of origin/that of your ancestors/heimat/whatever" in German which doesn't actually define the gender/identity of the country itself. If I were to talk about my country of origin in German it would also be a Vaterland, in this case mine, despite the fact that Switzerland actually has a female pronoun in German:Die Schweiz and a female anthropomorphication: Helvetia.

Absolutely right - the female personification of the United States is Columbia. In the 19th-century, some even proposed that 'Columbian' become the adjective for someone from the United States, thereby by-passing that tiresome argument that sometimes gets rehashed in NSG over whether 'American' is an appropriate adjective for just one country.

Columbia looks remarkably like a young Angela Lansbury.

Female, but we always refer to our country as 'isänmaa'. (In English, fatherland.)

But, there's no gender-specific pronouns in Finnish. There's just 'hän'.

"Venezuela es bella" (Venezuela is beautiful).

In spanish, our country is female. My other nationality/country is Spain, to which we refer in spanish as "La Madre Patria", so it is a perfect translation for "Motherland".

So, two female countries on my side.

Filipino/Tagalog has no gender specific pronouns, unlike many Indo-European languages; but if we are comparing stuff to parents we use "Mother" for the country: Inang Bayan, for instance. Another instance is Inang Kalikasan ("Mother Nature"). There are other instances where in "Mother" is used, especially in usages where the caring, nurturing stereotype of a mother needs to be invoked.
