I'd like to have the answer of the older argue we have, here, in South Yorkshire!

I have had horse before. Not my favorite meat. But I know people that like it a lot.

Horse meat seems about as edible as most other meat: not very. I wouldn't judge people who eat it.

"I don't care about fucking horse." I have a feeling this doesn't mean what I think it means...

Anyway, i probably would have tried it if I weren't a vegan.

Delicious when properly cooked. Over a basic wood-fire its rather tough.

I haven't ate any...

But I'm not opposed to doing it in the future, nor am I opposed to those who eat horse meat...

Never had it. Bastards are too fast, and the men on their back don't approve of my chasing them.

I haven't tried it. I know people who have who say it's not great. I have no problem with people eating it, though; horses are natural prey.

I enjoyed it when I tried it, and from what I hear the fancy places here in Chicago are going to start serving and selling it :9

tasted burnt tough and stringy, but maybe that was the way it was cooked.

...tough and stringy is common, but the French stew it up with onions and thats what I thought was tasty.

I've never had it, it's illegal where I live if I remember correctly. I don't see anything wrong with it though, meat is meat right?

Sounds like an interesting thing. But according to my Mom, it isn't very good or at least in Western France*.

*At least I think that's where she had it at, it was somewhere in France.

IMO, horse meat is *probably* halal and thus permissible, but a pertinent form of transportation in terms of carrying out the will of Allah, and thus, best to avoid. 8)

It'll only be a matter of time before one of these slaughterhouses catches onto fad and decides to sell...

...Pony meat.
