I think I saw that. Don't think they need to make a meme around the bloke. Seems kind of slack.

“An important finding of the Challenging Racism Project is that Australians are in large part secure with cultural difference. However, there are still pockets of the country that hold on to ‘old-fashioned’ racist views,” the report states.

Among the 12,512 people surveyed Australia-wide, 48.6 per cent were negative towards Muslims, Asians (23.8 ), indigenous Australians (27.9), Jews (23.3) and black Africans (27).

We have family friends who are lebanese catholics and my dad says if they were Muslim he would avoid the road their house is on.

At least im in the 52.4% of people without a negative attitude, with good friends from Iran who are Muslim, Aboriginal, Sudanese & Vietnamese and I did japanese at school and have a friend in Japan.

According to the survey, racist hotspots in Australia tended to be in areas that had economic hardship, recent immigration and below-average education levels.

That seems to be expected. I am surprised that things are that bad, I would have expected half the negative numbers.

I'm not sure. Homophobia would probably be high yet distinctly in the minority I'd think.
