At mine, scaring a pussy/shame to the male species gave you a detention. The guy ran to tell the teacher, because he thought I was going to beat him up, when it was just a joke, and everyone was laughing at him. Those were the days.

Best of luck guys I completed Year 12 a few years ago and I just want to say it isn't till you finish that you realise that it was a walk in the park and you stressed out about nothing.

In fairness some of us also have a Y13.

Yeah I was the same but you seem smart enough that you will pass, though I notice you are doing two languages and three intensive text courses. Why no maths or science topics?

Mostly can't fit them in. I'm not a math's person. At all. I'm good with the basics, and I was doing Advanced in Year 10, but it was getting both too difficult and pointless for me. Somehow scraped through with a Band 5A for the school certificate, and decided to end it on a high note.
As for science, I don't mind it, I'm okay with it too, I was brought up around all that natural stuff, so I pondered Bio or Earth and Environmental, but I couldn't fit them in. I find languages and writing really enjoyable, and they come to me easily. I thought I may as well play to my strength and do what I like, means less study too.

Oh so can I, I am friends with people who range from tree hugging fur hating greenies to idolisers of Marx all the way through to old school conservatism. Still have the same fun with all of them, and politics doesn't get in the way unless we decide to have a discussion on it and it is quite pleasant there was one guy whom I haven't seen for about a year and he was a member of the SA in SA where we would have thought provoking discussions.
Yeah fair enough, and less study is a good way to go especially if they are I wish I had done that instead of doing the suicide 5 as the school called it but it covered most areas so I found it interesting but should've done a few subjects that were easier required less study and that I had a keener interest in would boost up my uni score.
You looking at moving into uni next year?

Ah yes I see how it works, you did half of the first year then had to do it again.
In Australia we have 13 years of schooling though the 13th year is called year 12 because the first year is called kindergarten or reception if in SA. The second year of schooling is called year 1.

It's only called Kindergarten in NSW and ACT. Everywhere else, Kindergarten means pre-school. Most states call it prep.
