You know you've made it on NSG when you have a whole thread created around what you said.

I can understand the whole mocking Gerry Brownlee and the government for being dicks, but really this video is just as ignorant about New Zealand, if that was the intention. We invented electric fences, jetboats, bungy jumping, disposable syringes, and contributed to the splitting of the atom aka nuclear weapons and nuclear power. Also there has never been slavery in New Zealand, and we were the first nation in the world to give women the vote. I guess all everyone will ever know about NZ is sheep and Jerry Brownlee, from now on. I suppose I had better start telling everyone I have sheep, just so people know what country I am from. :( /End sulk.

I have to face it, our politicians suck. :p

It's a trait of many politicians everywhere. Not just over there :p
Well I guess you have that foul mouthed Wilders guy. We have Gerry Brownlee and Winston Peters, not sure if they still have the MP here ( unofficially nicknamed 'Bob the Builder' ), who spends his time talking about his private parts.
Edit: He's gone, phew. :meh:

As a Finnish-New Zealander I wasn't offended by Brownlee's comments nor was I offended by this guy's response. It was quite funny actually.

I wasn't offended either, both were incorrect and silly though. I was just lamenting the lack of public knowledge of New Zealand, and the consistency of Europeans to throw us in with the Welsh, due to the sheep. :p

I know. I hate it when ignorant people bring the Welsh up to our level, when clearly our sheep are better than theirs. Welsh sheep have nothing on New Zealand sheep. :p

I'm just glad Hippostania didn't see it. The last thing we want is someone like him calling us a socialist hell hole and saying we need to be more like the United States.

No thanks, we've already got enough fat people and terrible television (save the Amazing Race and the Big Bang theory) as it is. Speaking of television, when's the next series of Spartacus due to air?

Yes, and we strive greatly to rape from other cultures, to make ourselves feel better, because we have no real culture of our own celebrate our cultural diversity, and the bi-cultural relationship with the Maori people.

SACs? That means Society and Culture around here in Great Lakes vocab.

Student Assessed Coursework. Along with exams, they're the only things that count towards your final mark in year 12.

Sounds shifty. Student assessed? Is this some perverted form of democracy?

Whoops, I meant to say School. This isn't like year 8, when we wrote our own reports.

Basically a swearing ban is imposed and other negative comments are also a bad idea. Shut-up can tread a fine line.
