I thought that too, till I saw it in action.

And for this I am forever grateful to God, as my mandatory Christian Education class in primary school taught me to be.
I only learned that Messiah means the anointed one. And how retreating further into conservatism is a natural reaction when confronted with what is perceived as alien.

I found out that Noah's ark carried animals, and that some old guy called Moses parted waves, and drowned people.

I went shopping at Aldi and had lunch at Nandos with my sister. City life at its finest.
Oh, wow, you have snakes?

Mmm... Portuguese. Totz jelly.
And yes, we have plenty. Confirming once again that all those stereotypes about the Australian bush aren't exactly stereotypes, and I'm a little bit stupid.

I don't know of anywhere in Australia that doesn't have snakes. We actually had to desnake one of the interactive whiteboards at work yesterday, although that was a pet snake. We have gotten wild ones in the playground before.
You're from Melbourne, if I remember correctly. Maybe it's too cold there?

And you don't even live inland.
Wasn't there some kind of public transport you could have taken instead of your traipse through the lands of terror and adversity?

Nandos, last time I went there the food was cold and overpriced, I was lucky I didn't catch food poisoning; which I have a strong resistance to in fact, due to my experiences with the consumption of expired food produce.Meowfoundland wrote:Forster Keys wrote:Bush bashed my way to a mate's place today through thick bush and marshland. Yah, I'm from Melbourne. I've never seen a snake in the city before. There might be some in the Dandenongs, though, because the mountains are still quite heavily forested.

Snakes like the coast as much as people I think. And as for the public transport, there was a bus in twenty minutes, but I thought this way would be quicker and funner.
