That doesn't disprove a thing. It's like how "I think therefore I am" didn't disprove solipsism.

How so? It's perfectly logical.

By the way, "Yahweh Sabaoth" has never been used to refer to any god period, much less the god of the ancient Hebrews. (The origins of whom are inconclusive, but it certainly wasn't any deity from Babylonia. It was also probably a storm god, not a war god, although recently the suggestion that YHVH was originally a serpent god, or even a serpent goddess has come up.)

Ah, the Problem From Evil. Baby's First Atheism. It's a pretty terrible argument, hinging on two things: humanity having the correct understanding of evil, and God having a moral obligation towards its creations.

Also, that's an argument against an omnipotent and omnibenevolent god, not Jesus.

Because it's too narrow a context and can easily be worked around with the argument that God respects Free Will, evil acts being resultant from being allowed to do as we will on the Earth and receiving our just desserts after death.

Humans know what evil is. Evil is causing suffering. That is the word. We made it with our own minds and hands. Also, Jesus is not loving? Yahweh is not omnipotent or loving? You might want to explain what exactly you believe then. I assumed it was the normal.

There is no indication in the Bible that God can't stop evil, even Satan himself is absolutely powerless compared to God.

Why does God have to prevent evil and make sure everyone lives on a perfect planet with perfect people? Maybe he has a different purpose in mind for mankind have you considered that? As for the existence of evil God gaves us free will apparently he didn't want or need perfect machine servants both humans and angels are given free will to decide to serve him or not, and evil is the natural result of beings with free will abusing their free will.

Believe it or not, Hell was mostly fabricated by the Catholic Church, which, back in the Medieval Ages, was just a political office using religion for power.

Just out of curiosity, and it wouldn't be a basis to invalidate your points, nor deride you, if true...

But I'm assuming you're in high school, and that you were a religious person at one point?

I'm 20 and I've always been a Atheist, actually! Not a very common answer, I guess, but that's how it happened. I was far more interested in the wonders of Science than religion as a child. I only figured out how right I was later.

Iron chariots we meet again.

I need to just write a book and save it on my computer and call it answers for atheists and skeptics and just refer everyone to it.

Anyway, that passage of scripture means that the Lord had already given the men of Judah favor to take the land, but they were unable to take it because of their own short comings and fears and doubts. There's nothing indicating that God himself was incapable of killing men in iron chariots, and if this was the case it would go against everything in the Bible.
