When FST supports your intercourse, you know your love is universally liked.

Gays are made up of gaytrinos and they interact via faggons, which are massless spin 2 particles. They're massless because gays care so much about their weight, and have spin 2, cause that's as much spin as particles can get, and liberals love spin. The exchange of spin 2 particles creates an attractive force between objects, which is why gays are so promiscuous. When gays get "settle down" into a lower energy state by marrying, they release faggon particles in the form of gaydiation. Everyone is a little bit gay, so every human body has some gaytrinos in it, meaning that the gaydiation could cause straight people to be attracted to gays and choose to turn gay.

I can sort of see FST's point, though. If Yahweh is all-knowing and all-powerful and, we're told, benevolent and loving, shouldn't the "love thy neighbor" stuff be all over the Old Testament? If he knows everything, he should know what's good and what's bad universally. But yes, since the OT is just the collected myths and legends of the ancient Hebrews, it is pointless projecting modern morality onto it.

Except that's exactly my point. If you want to say it was just the primitive morality of a philosophically and scientifically illiterate tribe, that's fine. However, if you claim it to be from god, I've got questions.

I guess those verses mean "thou, man, shalt not have vaginal sex with other men". Anal sex and oral sex are ok. Expecially oral sex, because it is not what enters a man's mouth that defileth him. It is what comes forth: so, no spitting AFTER oral sex. :D

Deliberate misinterpretation.
The Bible is firmly against any homosexual acts and speaks of sexual relations. The verses quoted are aimed at any sexual relations and as marriage is an ancient union targetting procreation, the bible is firmly against it.
But if like me you do not care what the bible says, you may simply not care about homosexual acts. I will however not resort to making up religous quotes and meanings to try and justify my position.

If you're trying to justify a position on what the bible says, you'd better have a quote from the bible to back it up. This is the one and only thing on which the bible actually is an authoritative source. So go on then, chapter and verse, please, and I'll give you a literal translation of what it really says, rather than what some politically motivated translator added in millennia later.

That said, in Christian theology, Jesus died to cleanse people of their sins.

Whether or not the horse is dead is meaningless. Look at the Falkland Islands thread, where the same three or four people have been saying, "Is not! Is too!" for 60 pages.

Yes, of course God hates homosexuals In fact, the only thing he hates more than homosexuals is conceited holier-than-thou religious fundamentalists, as homosexuals are typically at worst only comitting one sin.
