My doctoral thesis was on the comparative trans-Atlantic analysis of Late 18th- and 19th-Century ceramics.

I also wrote a book on British ceramics in Australia, and have written several published papers on ideological meaning in the analysis of ceramics decoration and the global ceramics trade.

However, I also teach several basic introduction to archaeology courses (both campus-based and distance-learning) at my institution, so have to have a good grasp of the discipline generally - and so occasionally amuse myself by posting in those rare archaeology threads on NSG.

Ya estoy tomando Tamiflu, es como la gripe normal, pero más mediática, y la gente te manda regalos. En Japón me dio una influenza mucho peor que ésta, por marrana que sea. Qué bueno veros de vuelta por aquí, a ustedes dos.

Lo sé, a mi me puso iker chunga. Un día me dio tremda calentura que ni te cuento. Ye malísima, pero no mortal. Bueno, dependiendo de los grupos de alto riesgo. Usted es fuerte. Ya, muchos líquidos y mucho descanso que se acerca la temporadita de influenza de tipo 1. Esa sí mata más gente que H1N1.

I graduated earlier in the year, enjoyed my last long summer, and moved to a new town to start a new job part-time. I'm still looking for some extra work, but singing for a living is great. That said, it takes a while to settle and get to know people, trying not to mould yourself automatically into everyone else's routines, attempting to meet lots of new people and normally failing to say much. This is analogous to my activity on NSG.
