Firefox, followed by Chrome.

I first had firefox. I tried chrome, and it felt like I was cheating on my girlfriend. But after realizing that chrome was much, much better, I never looked back. There are a few things that irk me, which google really needs to fix: .pdf viewers, and the absolutely retarded "most visited" page upon opening a new tab.

I'm actually very appreciative of what Google has done for .pdf. Being able to print to .pdf from my browser is pretty awesome.

Firefox, because extensions/customization is more of an important factor to me than speed. It does not matter to me if a page loads a few milliseconds faster or not than to be able to have NoScript, Adblock Plus, and the other add-ons that I want. Chrome to me, looks far too simplistic and stripped down with not enough features.

A quick search through Google's extension library says that both of those specific extensions you mentioned exist for Chrome.

Chrome crashes, regularly. At least IE is stable. And bear in mind, I do all the hard web surfing on IE. Chrome I barely trust to handle one tab.

Chrome crashes, regularly. At least IE is stable. And bear in mind, I do all the hard web surfing on IE. Chrome I barely trust to handle one tab.

I've never had Chrome itself crash, and I keep dozens of tabs open at once (usually simultaneous pending NS RP posts ).

I like Chrome... ever since i switched to it from IE about 9 months ago.. I've had no blocking of sites that i don't want blocked, no viruses/malware detected on my system and everything loads about 50% faster than it used to.

Comparison:

NS posts on IE took about 1.50 to 1.80 seconds to post
NS post on chrome have taken about 0.67 to 1.00 seconds to post.

It's probably more of a location thing. Chrome crashes for my IRL friends as well.

I regularly have at least 3-5 tabs open in Chrome and no problems. In IE i could barely have more than 1 with out it taking forever to load the page(s) i was opening in a new tab. Hell i regularly have 6-8 open whenever I'm reading Grantland.

I find IE8 looks better. Also, everything important is on the left. Where it makes sense.

Someone here genuinely likes Internet Explorer. I thought people used IE when there literally didn't know what web browser meant.

Actually IE9 isn't that bad. It just isn't tailored for developing, as Firefox is.

Actually I'm more comfortable when coding with IE than FF or Chrome. But it's just me (and the fact that I had 9 since a beta prerelease)... IE8 wasn't much but 9 has many useful customizeable tidbits.
Other than IE I quite like Opera.

uzbl is probably my favourite. On Linux I alternate between uzbl and Firefox, but on Windows I alternate between Firefox and Chrome.

All browsers really suck arse.

Chrome is my ultimate favourite, but I'm fine with other browsers. IE 9 is quite well done, imo, but still not exactly up to the point of Chrome yet.
