The worst part is that I can relate...to an extant.
I used to have a bullying problem and I seriously considered killing myself several times.
I was eventually put in a local hospital for my own safety.

I absolutely despise people who act as if bullying isn't a big deal.

1) Not really a proper justification tbh. Keeping it short, I don't have a strong like for use of slurs in any situation tbh.

2) Not a lot call for a Balkanization along ethnic, political, religious, etc. lines. Especially since you Balkans aren't exactly a place you want to emulate, with high levels of ethnic tension that require a military force to patrol and prevent that simmering resentment in the Serbian population from exploding.

A better idea is multicultural integration and exposure to minorities. If a social taboo becomes more publicised and open, the population gradually becomes more accepting of it. This was true for desegregation, and it's true for same sex relationships.

3) Apathy is the first step towards violence, tbh.

This my friends is the true face of Anoka, Minnesota, the home town of Michele Bachmann. This town has let Nine students...NINE FUCKING STUDENTS commited suicide because of who they are. I'm sicken and pissed as hell after reading this article, I have never felt this angry and disgusted at what is going on at those schools. I'm a christian who has followed god's word since I was very young and these...these fucking heathen have committed the ultimate crime against god and his son...not helping his fellow man and to love all men and women.

I don't care so much about the suicides, although it is clearly a tragedy. I care about why they happened. This is a reflection of greater issues at play in society

Of course I was bullied a bit a child, every child was. I happened to get into fights with those that pissed me off as a young lad, so no problems after middle school.
