Oh but it will. The human race is a shortsighted group. We, no matter how much we believe, will never truly accept each other, and are doomed to make the same mistakes over and over. It is impossible, for no matter how many of those who show compassion for the the thoughts and choices of others, there are just as many who can't or won't because that is their choice, and they will stick by it. I don't hate them for this, but I don't envy them either, because how can one live a life of true enlightenment if he doesn't love thy neighbor? And no, I am not using that in religious context.
