I thought it was getting dark later ...

Postby Tsaraine » Sat May 02, 2009 2:22 am

Which is normal, it being May now and heading into winter. So I was only a little surprised at it being dark at 8am. But then it remained dark at 9am, and I had to ring my mother to find out what the actual time was ... and it turned out it's actually 9pm! Somehow I managed to sleep eighteen or so hours, right through the day. I am so confused right now.

Has this ever happened to you guys? What the hell causes it? How can I fix it?

WOW! That is funny on so many levels. It has happened to me, and usually it's massive amounts of insomnia, at least for me.

Done it several times, wake up about 7, and wonder if it's AM or PM.

It happens, fortunately its not hard to figure out of its AM or PM.

Except for some of those stormy days, when it looks like night all day. :P

Damn,I'd love to sleep 18 hours. I haven't slept more than 4 hours at a stretch in years.

I work at night, so my informal internal clock often gets turned around.

This means I can be unbearably rude to telemarketers who call in the morning.

"DON'T YOU REALIZE IT'S TEN O'ClOCK?"

"Uh, well, yeah...??"

"SO GO TO BED ALREADY!"

But they deserve no respect anyway.
