I know and respect several true Christians, and if you are loudly claiming to be one, then you are not. Sorry, but true Christians try to live their lives in a Christ-like manner as possible. This doesn't include going around bragging about it.

It could be argued that those fanatical elements of Christianity in the United States are a part of these anti-Christian sins and lifestyles. Could be that lots of people like that are just looking for power to control other people. Its totally true, if someone flaunts their Christianity, they probably arent a very good person.

Actually, yes. The Bible talks about how before the return of Christ, there will be more divorce, more falling away from the body of Christ (a.k.a. the Church), greater sin, etc.

Christianity is cyclical though, so during the tribulation, true Christianity will be on the rise again. But before that, things are only going to get worse, but don't lose hope: the worse things get, the sooner he'll come.

I think the last thing that's required for his coming is the attack on Israel - which will be committed by Russia, Persia (a.k.a. Iran), Ethiopia (I think) and a few others.
