What do you have against me? Seriously? All I'm really saying is that I would defend people but I would defend no nation. In other words I support human rights fully and I don't have allot of respect for artificial constructs like "nations." Especially if said nation starts going around and killing people.

Without nations, there'd be no laws to protect people. Instead of large groups of people killing large groups of people, you'd have small groups of people killing small groups of people. With no laws relating to how it should be done.

Japan. South Korea, because they rule. Mexico and Canada because they are close by.

My nation wouldn't be much help in most instances, if the nation in question was not able to defend itself from the attackers, chances are my much smaller nation would fare even worse.

But still, I would support helping the following nations, in order of most support-y-ness:

-Scotland (If it broke free of England in a violent coup)
-Poland (It's suffered enough)
-Ireland (Also has suffered enough)
-Denmark
-The rest of the UK
-Canada
-Norway
-Iceland
-Luxembourg (Because you probably haven't even heard of it, and someone needs to protect it)
-Nicaragua (I like the name)
-And maybe Australia (But they'd have to sign a "no more sheep jokes" agreement first)

Everyone else can go die in a hole for all I care.

When people are threatened I support them. When nations are threatened I don't support the nation. Please do not try to make this mean anything other then what I said or launch into any conspiracy theory type extrapolations of what I may or may not mean. People should be defended (all people) no matter what nation claims them.

I was attending seminary in Pittsburgh when the city decided to tear down and replace the large Highland Park Bridge over the Allegheny River. I used that bridge to commute to school.

The city awarded the contract to a major local employer, US Steel, but cancelled the contract when it was recealed that US Steel was going to buy the steel for the bridge from Japan!
