I have said it before and I'll say it again. This is about self-determinism. The Falklanders have spoken and they desire to remain British. Argentina should just give it up. It's annoying when they rekindle this issue every few years. Don't they have more pressing matters to actually take care of? Like, say, deal with their shitty economy? That, IMO, is far more pressing than trying to butt rape the Falklands.

Yes but there claim is based on colonialism we were an old colonial power but we gave up trying to take over countries without there concent and now argentina is trying to colonize our country. @Eulandia - They were giving a show on the coast of the South American continent. They showed the Falkland islands and penguins. They say when the oceans were lower in elevation that you could walk the 643 Km. from the Falkland islands to Patagonia in Argentina.

The Falklands are probably better off under British control, the people anyway. Argentinean isn't exactly a very economically stable country last I knew. The British have also owned the Falkland Islands for so long I doubt there are many that are not without British blood anymore. What is the popular feelings of those living, the citizens of the Falkland Islands?
