Well, if you think about it, if the creation story is metaphorical and the seven days represent huge amounts of time, don't it seem reasonable to think it might still be Sunday and he's still resting? :p

I do Believe that god exists and I believe that everything is gof-fairing. I mean that if I die tomorrow, it was to happen, I dont care what my future has I just want to make my plan for it to be good. But anything can happen, so Im good with that.

Well of course it was to happen. Death is inevitable. Doesn't mean a god exists, it means we, like anything that lives, has a limited shelf-life; sometimes it is cut short by serious trauma to the body, genetic defects, etc...

God has finished making the Universe, and set it out to pretty much run itself. Now the only thing left to do is to amuse himself by:
A) torturing people in new and inventive ways.
B) attempting to elevate some of us to the 'next level' and seeing everyone elses reaction.
C) Guiding specific individuals in their lives for the betterment of all.

Oh, wait, all of those were summed up in A...
I guess I have to hope He doesn't notice me until it's too late.

Did God mention a specific date in 2012 per any chance?

It's not too surprising. Capitalization of nouns was common in English till at least the first half of the 18th century; I remember reading a Fielding novel with similar syntax. Being at least 250 years old, it makes sense that the poster is not up-to-date on all of the latest trends, and probably wouldn't catch on to NSG until it had been around for a while.

Who, or what, is this god of whom you speak? We have not been formally introduced. I have no admissable proof of his/her/its existence. If he/she/it is somehow meddling in my life, I would like to lodge a protest right now. My lawyer will be in touch.

In fact, i DO belive that what God has in store for me is what I would deserve. Nobodys perfect, and God is forgiving, so whatever he tests, or puts us through, is always in love, and good thought for the well-being, and (in the long run) good for us.

Might be a bit of dirty pool, but the entirety of the Old Testament is full of "forgiveness" like that.
