My stance for those clergy men is that the catholic chuch fucked it up. those clergy men should be investigated and punished in accordance to the law. they held a trust that was betrayed and the church should NOT have covered it up. The bible does talk about forgiveness, yes, but it also talks about making amends to those you have wronged.

I didn't mean to imply that I'm disagreeing with you. I'm just connecting the dots between the Church's reaction to scandal and that of ACORN's. If ACORN is such a corrupt organization, wouldn't it be using its status as a favored son of the Obama Administration to squash the investigation?

all I'm saying is that the level of 'exposing' criminal activity in organizations has changed alot since the old administrations.

It's what they have done in the past vs what they're doing now.

News media services (not just CNN) plastered Politician Sex Scandals with as much 'Fervor' as FOX News and this story. when President Bush was in the White House, they were scrambling over each other to tell us DAILY how many US soldiers died.

So my "beef"? why are they treating alligations of an Organization like ACORN with what is almost like 'kid gloves' a mention here, small updates there, but other stories in the past, get almost daily front page coverage.
