Sad face, loss to the Bucs.

Guess it really goes to show, there's no substitute for Sean Payton in a Saints game, here's hoping he's back on the field sooner rather than later, even if it's just a hoverround or something, heh.

I'm halfway surprised he didn't just turn offensive playcalling responsibilities over to Brees.

Same, or at least Williams. There was a definite change in aggressiveness with the Vitt guy, whom I'd never heard of until today.

I sure hope so... I started Cutler instead of Schaub on my Fantasy team.

And I have a Cutler jersey, too... still have never worn it yet... I'm waiting to get a Bears cap to go with it.

I tip my hat to the NY Giants for managing to eek out a win against my Buffalo Bills today

even though we were on our 3rd string NT, had to finish the game with out G playing LT and were missing both our OLBs and 3 of our top 5 receivers :p

My predictions:

NFC East: Philadelphia
NFC North: Green Bay
NFC South: New Orleans
NFC West: Arizona
WC: Detroit
Tampa

AFC West: San Diego
AFC South: Tennessee
AFC North: Baltimore
AFC East: NY Jets
WC: New England
Houston

You think the Jets will get the title?

I hate the Pats, so yes I still fink the Jets will win their division. They have a rematch soon, and the Jets are going to win it. Steelers and Giants will beat the Pats either, they should copy Rob Ryan's defensive gameplan vs New England.

You seriously think the 1-3(soon 1-4) "Dream team" will make the playoffs? They're over rated just like "Americas team" is every year and like the bears were last year. Oh and just like the Patriots are every year.

Well I hate the Giants, Washington isn't good and Tony Romo is a choker so I still fink Philly will win their division.

And I predicted that Arizona is going to win the NFC West, well I wanna change that for San Francisco, I've seen them against Detroit today and they impressed me.

And I fink now that Pittsburgh will get the WC instead of Houston.

I disagree. Show Brady something he's seen before and he'll kill it.

The Jets won't even make the postseason. New England are far too good, and Buffalo look like the real deal. At the moment, the Jets offense ranks almost bottom of the NFL and a once vaunted run defense is non existant. Revis Island doesn't count for shit if opposing backs are running all over your front 7.

Sanchez is horrible, so is the OC. The Reciever Corps complained to the HC about it, that should tell you all you need to know about the Jets. If they lose tonight, on National TV to the Miami Dolphins, you can pretty much write of their season. They'll be 3-4 with two division losses.

After last weeks mishap against the Seahawks I say a win is a win is a win. But honestly, I have not a clue who will eventually win NFC East. Dallas still too much same old same old, Redskins Grossman returning to expected form. Eagles dream team 2-4 and my Giants so far snatched defeat from the jaws of victory twice and tried mightily against the Bills but came out on top...

NFC East: Tough to say. I'm going with Giants or Redskins.
NFC North: Green Bay without a doubt.
NFC South: New Orleans with a Falcon possibility.
NFC West: Arizona is doing better this year and the whole division isn't really going anywhere.
WC: Detroit, Bucs

AFC West: San Diego for sure
AFC South: Tennessee
AFC North: Baltimore because Steelers aren't doing too well this year
AFC East: Definitely NE
WC: Jets, Houston

Never understood why people consider Rice #1 all time. There are at least three above him:
  1. Don Hutson - Most dominant receiver relative to his era of all time. Basically invented the wide receiver position as we know it today.
  2. Raymond Berry - Matured the art of route-running
  3. Marvin Harrison - Greatest route-runner ever, greatest hands ever. Was on pace to break Rice's records before getting derailed by injuries.

Rice wasn't an innovator, nor was he the absolute master of any particular aspect of his position. All he did was put up big numbers, which means he was able to stick around for a long time, which means he didn't get too hurt, which is basically just luck.

Tony Gonzalez should definitely be added. Right now he's older and slower, but he was amazing when he was in his prime (while still playing decently today), and he's smashed nearly every TE record.

Agreed. He received lot of well-deserved flak early on in his career for being unableto block a teddy bear and remaining a strictly one-dimensional player, but he is now one of the best blocking TEs in the league and gets little recognition for it. Few players at any age or position can change their game that much. That says a lot about Gonzalez's work ethic.

Like it or not, the MVP award is given to the QB on a winning team who compiles the most stats. Given that, I think its safe to say that Aaron Rodgers is locked in to win it. He certainly is lighting things up for my fantasy team right now.

My Bears were rockin' and rollin' at Wembley.

Tough schedule for the three weeks after the bye, though - @ Philly, and then home against Detroit and SD. After that things should get easier though.
