Big game tomorrow in Chicago, baby. I predict a surprisingly high scoring game despite the familiarity between the two teams.

Also excited for Illinois to start 4-0 for the first time since 1951. Oh, and for the ranked matchups: LSU, Bama, A&M, and Florida State all win.

There was already a college thread. Post in it please.

Dumb Ideologies - NSG is argument porn
Greater Cabinda - You are the Drunken Master.
Nanatsu no Tsuki - Titty... titties are so beautiful.
Ailiailia - It's Minoriteeburg, our cheap substitute for Drunk Commies.
The Blaatschapen - Now, if there exists a person with two penises, he can shave the pubes of the right one that way. If he then gets an erection he could say he's doing a Nazi salute.

I'll be at Soldier Field for that one, a mate of mine got tickets on the cheap. I'm not optimistic, but strange things happen when the Bears and Packers go at it. They're always fun either way.

That they are. The reason I predicted a high scoring game is due to the high scoring that's already taken place this year, but it always seems like the Packers and Bears end up in a defensive slugfest.

Yeah, it's kind of strange. Last year, for example, the scores:

Bears 20-17
Packers 10-3
Packers 21-14

Way too low.

Saints win in a tough big game, and Tom Brady gets taken down a peg. Good Day, :)

Think about the numbers in terms that we can relate to. Remove eight zeros from the numbers and pretend it is the household budget for the fictitious Jones family:
-Total annual income for the Jones family: $21,700
-Amount of money the Jones family spent: $38,200
-Amount of new debt added to the credit card: $16,500
-Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710

-Amount cut from the budget: $385

The Giants are better than everyone says they are. Maybe not you. But everyone else. Giants this, Giants that, omg, it's the end of the Giants season.

Not quite. They're a good team. Got some problems on defense, for sure. But not as bad as everyone claims it is.

We screwed up against Washington, but apart from a spell in the second quarter, we were good today. And no smack talkin' Jets fans around here either this week 8)

Haha yessssssss go pack go. 3-0, solid play overall considering how well Chicago plays us, so extremely happy with that.

Next we got Denver, hopefully a dominating win there.

In essence, Go Pack Go!

Well, the trains back from the game were not happy places.

As for myself - I saw a lot of positives. Our D-Line did better and our O-Line did much much much better. There's no shame in losing to a better team. Carolina next weekend - if they play like how they did against Jacksonville that should be a very winnable game.

Why is it in an open field? I thought elk lived in forested areas!

But let's get back on topic: any other Browns fans here?

Yeah, right. When pigs fly the Bills actually start winning. Oh, wait, they--

Anywho, no one knows how relieved I am that Vick's arm is only bruised. I've always liked Kafka, but he was just awful yesterday, and I'm not a big fan of Vince Young either.

I remember watching Kafka in person at Northwestern. He was a good QB for NW, but not a good NFL prospect. He shouldn't have been put in that position.

Whenever I hear someone mention Mike Kafka, I find I cannot resist the urge to make a Metamorphosis joke.

Well, he's done well in training camp, and when Vick got his concussion (Jeremy Maclin kind of screwed him, though). Of course, both of those are way different than starting for an entire game.

I still think that Kafka's Trial would be a great article discussing how poorly he performed.
