Yeah. Isn't Mark Bulger still floating around somewhere? Not that's he's much better, but I still think he's an improvement over Collins.

Hell get Gerrard. He's better than collins.

Who's getting demoted?

No one, I'm saying he was already there. If it clarifies things, though, then I'll say it's Brady, Manning, and Rodgers. If you want to take Manning out for right now since he's hurt we'll place Brees at third and move Rodgers to second.

Just that for the past few seasons people have been putting Brees in the top group with Manning and Brady, then a second tier of Rivers, Rodgers, Roethlisberger.

So when you said Rodgers was top 3 I wondered who you were putting him ahead.

While I know I am being biased here, I would rather have Rodgers cause he is young, he can actually move out of the pocket and throw, something that's not really Tom Brady's forte, and Manning's injury I think signifies the decline of his career. Brees and Rodgers should be equal, and they're both mobile outside the pocket, but I will give it to Rodgers due to his age(completely biased).

On another note, that was a ridiculous game and only the first leg of these two teams playing each other. I fully expect to see Brees come to Lambeau in January for the NFCCG. Sucks about Colston however, he's a key piece, though they got guys that can pick up the slack.

Well there's two measures. Who do you want as a player for the future where age comes into it, or the how good are they if you were playing a game tomorrow (and ignoring injury). I don't think you can call Manning's decline until it really happens, guys have come back from injury before.

That's true, but this neck problem is pretty odd, and while he should be fine I think The Colts got to start looking at the future, I mean the Pats did with Mallett, and I have a feeling that is gonna work out well for them, they should draft a QB from the coming draft class, it's gonna be a good one. Learn under Manning for 2-3 years and then shift to the young guy.

Not too much in the college spectrum today. Alabama will kick Penn State's ass, and that's the only ranked matchup. Auburn/Miss St. should be good, as should Georgia and South Carolina. Possibly an interesting matchup with USC and Uah too. My ESPN picks for this week:

Apparently, I can't read your picks (that's what the page said anyway), so, out of curiosity, who'd you pick in the Michigan vs. Notre Dame game?

But to stay on topic (NFL) SQUISH THE FISH!! ie. GO PATS

How 'bout Adrian Peterson's new deal? Smart move by the Vikings, if you ask me.

Arian Foster is questionable? I hate questionable. Questionable is the worst.

I'll let it go until about an hour before kickoff and if he's still questionable I'll give Brandon Jacobs the nod instead. He's against the Redskins and should get enough touches.

Yeah, I like confidence in the decision. In or out. Probable, is at least likely. Questionable is... maybe, maybe not.

I've had several questionable guys play over the years and get good numbers. And several not play at all.

I'm up against a guy who had both Brees and Greg Jennings, so I'm in a hole and really can't afford to have someone not play at all. Gosh darn indecisive injury reports.

I'm stuck in the same issue actually. I have confidence in Green-Ellis if I have to bring him in, but Foster would obviously be preferable. MJD will have to step up tomorrow for me though.

As for the poster wondering about my picks, I had Michigan. I'm undefeated in my picks today other than Iowa-Iowa St. (which I had as my 10 point pick  ).

I pick the Jets, it will not be too close, but interesting. I predict a score of 27-13.

That was a terrific game, tho the Defense didn't even need to show itself on the final drive.

Oh i cant wait to see Romo crying like a baby after David Harris pounds his face in.

And we really need to get Sanchez jumpstarted on the passing game, and whats better then this banged up Cowboys D?

I wouldn't under-estimate Rob Ryan's D. It was among the best in Cleveland, and now he has much better weapons.

On a different note, what the fuck NFL Countdown. The entire show has been commercials since I started watching 20 minutes ago. Maybe they're stretching out the show because of the added hour, but they should've left it at 2 hours with minimal commercials.

Also, fuck you Arian Foster.

Collins was college All American, with by far the highest completion percentage.

He's sober now too, as his recent book reveals.
