When I play he often times gets less than that, I'm much more of a running play caller. And Madden way-WAY overestimates Reggie Bush, so you can prettywell crush anybody with him.

It's a possibility, I don't like comparing modern players to past ones. Gale Sayers, for example, would destroy any Running Back playing to day, I think.

The rules were so much tougher, and the game so much more difficult than what players have to deal with now. You'd get fined for the kind of shit those guys had to put up with today, back then it was just another part of the game.

It works the other way too though. I mean people talk about Jim Brown running over people and dragging lineman with him, but at the time a lot of the d-lineman would be the size of today's average linebacker.

Players today are certainly bigger and faster than at any time in history. You go back a few decades and any modern NFL team would blow the best sides of that era away on size athleticism alone. That's the problem with such comparisons.

Just use the "simulate game" feature with one of the included historic teams.

When i play Madden, i usually do short passes like Slants, Drags, short posts, curls, and screens. I use to run when i played on the PS2, becuase it was a lot easier then XBox360. So, I usually do a lot of mediocre short passes, so usually my QB's end up like 35-45 but for jut 180, 200 yards.
