What about Archie?

Meh, Archie's brief trysts with other teams are of no concern to me, :p

But that was before my time, I started paying attention to the Vikings around the time Randy Moss showed up, and they really haven't changed the face of the team if you take my meaning.

I thought i would get into doing Fantasy Leagues. This was my choices.

It was a 10 team league

QB: Peyton Manning
RB: Ray Rice
RB: Shonn Greene
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
TE: Zach Miller
W/R: Beanie Wells
DEF: Eagles
K: N. Rackers
BN: Ben Roethlisberger (QB)
BN: Chad Ocho-Cinco (WR)
BN: Falcons (DEF)
BN: Braylon Edwards (WR)
BN: Rob Bironas (K)
BN: Ronnie Brown (HB)

I overstocked on WR, and good ones, but i am hoping ill be able to get someone good for Ocho-Cinco.

I also made a rookie mistake. I got Roethlisberger because of Mannings uncertainty, but they both have the same bye week. I didnt check. So I am gonna attempt to trade Big Ben, or just cut him and get someone else. Or cut Bironas, and get a different QB.

Thoughts?

You'll be fine; the good is that you've got a top-10 fantasy QB ready to go until a top-3 one is in the fold. In a 10 team league, you're not going to be able to trade Big Ben for much, but also there should be someone available on waivers that week who can put in one start for you. RB is much more of a concern. Ray Rice is a stud, but both Beanie and Shonn Greene really underperformed last year, and if one (if not both) do it again this year you are in deep shit.

Here's my possibly awesome or awful fantasy roster... I'm worried about everything except the defense and WRs.

QB-Schaub
WRs-Andre and Calvin Johnson
RBs-Deangelo Williams, Ryan Grant, Joseph Addai, C.J. Spiller
TE-Greg Olsen
D/ST-Bears
K-Rackers
Bench:
Cutler, Peyton Manning, Pats D/ST, Ronnie Brown, Todd Heap, Nate Washington, Jordan Shipley

Probably not gonna like this-i cut Wells, and waived Sanchez. But i have a lot of faith in Shonn Greene, he is a great player, and he WILL shock the world this season. Just wait.

But if he doesnt, i hope my recieving corps can carry my wait

And they do. But I had the dreaded middle spot in a 12 team snake draft, so I was toast.
I decided after seeing that, that I would get the best WRs as starters and get the deepest QB depth in the league. I'm hoping to leverage either Schaub or Cutler for a good RB when Manning gets healthier. My first 3 picks were the Johnsons and Peyton. I gave my RB group for dead once the 4 I was drooling over were off the board.

Jags finally (but still suprisingly if you ask me) released Gerrard today after 9 seasons.

And also Del Rio is on the chopping block if he doesn't get the jags a winning season.

Bears are a fine defense. But one low end RB2, 3 RB4s, and a handcuff scrub? The Johnsons' combined badassery should offset some of that though.

I was pretty surprised about that too. Looks like a rebuilding year for the Jags, probably gives the division to the Texans if Peyton continues not recovering.

Which is cool because my cousin is the Equipment Manager for the Texans.

Jags are getting strange. They appear like they are in rebuilding mode by drafting a QB in the top ten, then they go and throw down 70 mil to two linebackers. Then they go and cut their franchise quarterback (I don't think he is, and debate Garrard's merits all you want, but he is paid like one) and throw Gabbert off to the side and declare Luke McCown their starter. Now I know that won't last, but seriously? At least give him a chance.

I imagine the Jags will completely quit on Del Rio this year and end up with four or fewer wins.

I can't believe the Jags have held on to Del Rio for this long. Same goes for Gerrard. Why put so much faith in a mediocre quarterback?

Well, that was the plan. I'd love to see it executed.
I hope it works. Maybe they'll cancel out my awful RB grouping.

And Running Backs can come out of nowhere, too, so you'll be fine as long as you're quick on the waiver wire. I mean, look at Arian Foster last year. How many people started the season with him?

Agreed. The other year I did fantasy, I was quick on getting Sproles when LT went down. It made the difference between finishing 9th and 10th.

Peyton has been ruled out for sure.

I mean, we got lucky that one year with Jim Harbaugh, and if Pittsburgh hadn't cheated...

Did my second fantasy draft today. This was a 10 team league with my uncle and a bunch of his co-workers, so it wasn't competitive; I'm saving that for my primary league. Given that, I got dumb and make several dumb swing-for-the-fences picks.

QB Michael Vick
RB Felix Jones
RB LeGarette Blount
WR Andre Johnson
WR Dez Bryant
TE Jimmy Graham
Flex Shonn Greene
Def Cowboys
K Dan Carpenter

QB Matthew Stafford
RB DeAngelo Williams
WR Mike Williams Bucs
WR Plaxico Burress
TE Aaron Hernandez
Def Chargers

Hate Vick this year, but if I'm wrong, he'll blow up and own the league. Drafting Stafford as an injury-prone backup to an injury prone QB1 was very stupid, but, hey, his upside is huge and like I said, I was drafting dumb. But I did do a good job scrounging up a corps of RB2s throughout the draft; I think Felix breaks out this season and am confident with him as a low end RB1.
