Come on Eli let's get some points on the board.... at long last...

Think about the numbers in terms that we can relate to. Remove eight zeros from the numbers and pretend it is the household budget for the fictitious Jones family:
-Total annual income for the Jones family: $21,700
-Amount of money the Jones family spent: $38,200
-Amount of new debt added to the credit card: $16,500
-Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710

-Amount cut from the budget: $385

Close game, but the offensive firepower of Green Bay takes home the gold again.

And holy shit Aaron Rodgers is filthy.

Wow... with the Dolphins kicking the shit of out KC, they effectively fall to 8-1, leaving Indy at 9-0 in Sucking For Luck! The Dolphins have shown some life in the games they've played, while the Colts have been getting thrashed, so it's safe to say they will end up with the #1 pick. Then things will get very interesting.

Someone laughed at me when I said the Jets are going to win the AFC East. They just won vs Buffalo and New England lost vs NY Giants. All 3 teams are tied so the jets still can win it.

Do I detect a hint of grey in his beard?

Saints win, feels good after that last Tampa meeting. Further evidence as well of my assertion that taken as a whole, New Orleans has the best run game in the league, :)

Uhm ... usually the wins are given first. The Dolphins are 1-8, the Colts 0-9.

I think he's making a joke about the craze for drafting Andrew Luck. I guess the reasoning goes that if you're a poor team you want to lose out on all games so you get the better chance at drafting Luck (i.e. 0-9 is the best, so it's really like 9-0).

It all seems rather silly to me. I might be old fashioned, but I firmly believe in playing to win the game no matter what. I don't care if you're 0-15, you'd damn well better be playing as hard in the last game as you did in the first.

Has Luck indicated if he is actually going to sign up for the draft in the first place? Would be funny to see a team go 0-16, proclaim 'we will pick Luck', and Luck bitchslapping them by saying 'you are all out of luck'... 8)

Wins over the Bucs, Falcons, and now Eagles. Those are some good potential Wild Card tiebreakers. Now if we can beat the Lions next week we'll be in business. Bear down.

He's kinda hinted, he's stated that he wants to finish school and graduate. If he took any que's from Sam Bradford, which he didn't, he needs to leave this year and declare himself. He is by far critiqued as the best QB prospect since Peyton Manning, I really don't see why he wouldn't declare himself other than to try to win a National Championship, which I don't see happening.

Don't worry, their big brothers from Cincinnati do :)

Did any of you see the graphic on ESPN today? Dalton has more touchdown passes at this point in his rookie season than any other rookie ever has- including Dan Marino. Eight games in, he has 12 touchdowns. Everyone better be on the look out for the Red Baron (Dalton) and the Green Hornet (AJ Green). Sitting atop the AFC North with a 6-2 record is pretty impressive from this young squad.

EDIT: The poll on the top of the thread should ask which is the best division- seeing as how the conferences are the NFC and AFC.

Bears wont be going to the playoffs, they'll be lucky to see a winning record, they'll just have to sit home and watch the Packers once again win it all again. Go Pack Go!

I love him for what he did for the Gators but...
Surely this 5 game stretch has to be among the worst statistical performances ever by a QB on a 4-1 swing, right?
