Salem Witch Hunts- Dozens of people executed in a strict theocratic community, the mastermind of which eventually became a prostitute. In fact, their trial methods included drowning people; those who died were declared innocent. If they had lived, they'd have been killed anyway for being a witch.

Spanish Inquisition- Tortured and murdered thousands of people over accusations of witchcraft.

England- Pagan religion was outright banned until the 1950s.

United States of America- Forced Mormons to ban polygamy as it clashed with traditional Christian monogamy, which violated the Constitution.

All over the Christian world- People persecuted... sometimes even murdered... for being homosexual.

Crusades- Millions killed for not being Christian.

Germany- Nine million people systematically executed by a devout Catholic.

All of this- In history books.
