youre lucky they werent taking down names to put on a list of people who wont be getting city services any more.

It's impossible that Gingrich is really so stupid he doesn't 'get it', so I guess he's just being a twat.

Here's a quote from an actual Republican voter in Illinois: "Government should operate in the black like they require the private sector to do."

Presumably he was outraged and complaining about the deficit while Bush was in office. Wait, what do you mean he went along with "deficits don't matter"?

One of them downstaters. They joke about kicking us out of the state - I wholeheartedly approve! Draw a line from about a county south of the quad cities, looping down to let Peoria in because we feel bad for them, and then over to Indiana. Northern Illinois. Boom. 51st state.

We don't need more red states on our borders. Indiana's got too many bad influences as it is.

Exit polls routinely understate Santorum's support. Romney will probably win, but don't expect it to be by the same margins as the exit polls show just yet.

Romneys got Illinois won, hands down. He's at 55%, Santorum 27, Paul 10, Gingrich 7.

Still, theres only 7% in and it might change since CNN hasn't officially called it.

Yeah. He's a lot older than people think. He has aged really well, but he's still 65. That's not so old, but he can still get a senior special when he goes out for breakfast, if he wanted. Not everyone can have Ron Paul's campaign vigor at an advancing age.

I think he just said that you don't understand governance if you're a constitutional law professor.

And he made a community organizer joke.

EDIT: And he's basically lying constantly throughout his whole speech. Yeah, Mitt, that's not going to backfire eventually. /sarcasm
