the final rise in CO2 precedes the divergence of the solar and temperature data by at least 30 years.

Well, I ... of course, if ... what? I've read those three sentences more than three times and they still make no sense. Anyway, whether or not the Earth needs fixing is not the point. We're accelerating something that doesn't need to be accelerated and that is actually detrimental to civilization. I think it would be a good idea if we stopped or at least slowed up.

Not convinced that it is caused by humans, nor am I convinced that the effects will be as extreme as the predictions...

Of course that being said, I've not exactly kept up with it, so my skepticism about how much of an effect humans are having on it could be based in ignorance...

Whether humans are causing it/greatly affecting it, most if not all the remedies seem reasonable to me even if it isn't human caused...

It's funny how a climate change denier always has to make a remark about Al Gore. Former Vice-President Gore is not a climatologist. I grant you that there is hype on both sides of the issue. Again, go through the thread and read the evidence. What are you afraid of?
