No. And don't insult ancient people by saying they couldn't build what they built without help. No.

It's basically not gonna happen. The nearest star to us is 4.2 light years away. That means it would take the fastest human spacecraft in history approximately 450 years to reach it . Remember, that's the closest star. Now, there are about 200 billion stars in the galaxy. Less then ten percent have even a small chance of providing life (according to one report. Opinions differ but rarely go above about ten percent). If one or more have life, we're assuming many things:
-They're close. Very close. See numbers above and realise why
-They're advanced. Just because a planet has life doesn't mean that life is bigger than single cell yokeys. For them to even have a chance at finding us, assuming all of these bulletin points apply, they'd have to be evolved enough to even be physically able to make spaceships, sentient, and around a long time to get to the interstellar travel stage. Even if every one of those 20 billion star systems contained life, a tiny, tiny portion would be sentient, let alone space faring.
-They're looking for us
-Even if they are looking for us, remember the 200,000,000 solar system statistic. The chances of them finding us are tiny, even if they only search the less than 10% that might contain life.
-They care about finding life. As you can see from what I've been saying, it's a lot of effort. Also, if you're at the interstellar stage, finding tiny underdeveloped species might not interest you.
-They left their planet to search for us millions of years ago
That's a lot to assume.

On the contrary. This is an example of yet another advantage to free speech. People will say stupid things and we can laugh at them.

And we can identify them, so that when our daughters say they want to marry them, we can lock them up in convents. Our daughters, I mean, no the ancient astronuts.
